Teen Girl Hit, Killed by Truck on I-91
Once again there was a death on our highways after a crash with a truck on 1-91 on Thursday April 19 in Windsor, CT, only a few days after a East Windsor man died on an on-ramp also in Windsor. What speed was the truck traveling at, what were the conditions, was the truck driver acting within regulations including the number of hours of driving in a day and the size of the load which affects stopping distances? Of course there is also the question of why there was a “pedestrian” on the highway as reported by the newspaper article. All issues our staff has researched before.
