Law firm seeks to hire a 2L law student for a part-time position of 10-20 hours per week, with potential full-time employment in the summer. Prior experience at a law firm or paralegal experience preferred but not required. Candidates should have an interest or classroom experience in family law, personal injury law, or professional malpractice law. Strong research and writing skills a must. This position is to be filled immediately.
Located in West Hartford, Connecticut, Stanger Stanfield Law, LLC focusses the majority of its practice on professional malpractice, family law, and personal injury law. We believe in giving clients that personal attention, support and knowledge advice they need to resolve their legal matters as effectively and efficiently as possible.
Participate in firm meetings, assist attorneys and paralegals in drafting of legal documents, research, analyze complex legal issues, reviewing client records, review motions, discovery, all documents related to litigation, various client interactions, assisting attorneys in preparing for court or other proceedings, and maintaining office records.
