As our practice continues to grow and as we expand our office space, we are seeking a senior attorney with partnership potential or who is looking to make a lateral move with partnership potential. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Draft and argue motions and briefs
- Management of case from inception to resolution, including trial work
- Provided legal analysis and practical solutions for clients
- Prepare and manage discovery and depositions
- Independently and collaboratively provide representation to clients
- Management of other employees and attorneys
- Marketing firm services to expand clientele
- JD from Accredited Law School
- Connecticut Bar Admission
- Minimum 8 years of Connecticut civil litigation experience.
- Trial experience
- Ability to market yourself to prospective clients
- Transferable book of business in a complimenting area of law is preferred
- Federal Bar certification is also preferred
- Firm administration or management experience is also preferred
- Detail oriented, hardworking, intellectual and innovative
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills

Law firm seeks to hire a 2L law student for a part-time position of 10-20 hours per week, with potential full-time employment in the summer. Prior experience at a law firm or paralegal experience preferred but not required. Candidates should have an interest or classroom experience in family law, personal injury law, or professional malpractice law. Strong research and writing skills a must. This position is to be filled immediately.

Participate in firm meetings, assist attorneys and paralegals in drafting of legal documents, research, analyze complex legal issues, reviewing client records, review motions, discovery, all documents related to litigation, various client interactions, assisting attorneys in preparing for court or other proceedings, and maintaining office records.
