Open House & Food Drive
On January 30, 2018, StangerLaw LLC held an open house to celebrate the expansion and renovation of our firm’s office space. We’ve dramatically increased and re-shaped our office space.
Because we have added new attorneys, we needed more space, but the renovation enabled us to create several new productive, collaborative work spaces as well as adding a small exercise room. Attorneys need to stay healthy too!
We take our role in the community seriously, so we combined the open house event with a food drive that collected donations for the Chrysalis Center’s Freshplace food bank. For the weeks leading up to the open house and at the event, we collected canned and paper goods. In addition, the firm made a substantial contribution of these items. We were incredibly thankful for all the items that our guests brought to the open house.
The Fresh Place food bank is operated by the Chrysalis Center. Fresh Place is a food bank program that provides food and necessities to needy Connecticut families. One of the firm’s paralegals sits on the board of directors for Chrysalis Center, so we feel a special connection with this organization. Unlike other food bank programs, families are free to choose foods that meet their dietary and cultural needs.
The open house was a great chance for our clients, past and present, professional colleagues and vendors we deal with to come see the new space, meet our team and enjoy some delicious food. But, best of all, we collected a generous amount of donated items that will be delivered to the Fresh Place food bank.
