Four Car Pileup Leaves One Driver With “Serious Trauma”
A four-car pileup that happened Monday night off southbound Route 9 at Washington Street/Route 66 left one person with “serious trauma” after they were revived by paramedics.
The vehicle was in flames before an officer at the scene was able to control the fire with a dry chemical extinguisher. EMS arrived at Exit 15 at about 8:45 p.m. and was able to remove the individual from the vehicle.
Two other individuals were taken to a local hospital and four others refused treatment.
