Attorney Sara Dickson first joined the firm in 2016 as a law clerk while completing her law degree. She continued with the firm as a practicing attorney after being admitted to the Connecticut bar in November of 2017. She was also admitted to theUnited States District Court for the District of Connecticut in September of 2018. She has experience in crisis management and many types of litigation including legal malpractice suits, commercial litigation, and personal injury actions. Sara brings valuable insight and perspective to each case and avidly represents our clients’ best interests.
As an attorney, she is an active member of the Connecticut Bar Association, participating in the Litigation Section and the Young Lawyers section and serving as chair to the Healthcare Law Section of the Young Lawyers Section Executive Committee. Sara is also a member of the Hartford County Bar Association, the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association, and the American Bar Association. Additionally, Sara continues to engage in legal research and giving back in various forums, primarily focusing on Medicaid Provider Taxes, and most recently presented at American University’s 2018 Conference, Poverty States: Federalism, Rights, and State Anti-Poverty Efforts.
Attorney Dickson grew up in Saegertown, Pennsylvania and attended Clarion University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated magna cum laude earning her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and minoring in Political Science. After that, she obtained her J.D. at Quinnipiac University School of Law. She graduated magna cum laude in 2017 and received an academic concentration in Health Law. During law school, Sara was a member and associate editor of the Quinnipiac Law Review Journal.
In her spare time, Sara enjoys traveling, cooking, hiking, and kayaking. She also enjoys working on home improvement projects and remodeling her midcentury home.
